7.5 | Somehow I've been drinking this beer for 2 winters and forgot to rate it. It's been my choice "pick up a case to fill the fridge" beer this winter. It's a good dark/carmel malt beer with a good head that sticks around for a bit. plus the Sam Adams bottles are super nice for homebrew bottling - except their labels have SOOO much glue on them. it sucks getting those off. |

8 | Right after a snowstorm in Minnesota, my friends and I found a 6-pack of Sam Adams Winter Lager buried in 2 feet of snow. One of the bottles exploded, the rest were frozen solid. We un-thawed them, and consumed. Great way to enjoy a Winter Lager. |
