7.5 | Shiner 96 is a beer celebrating Spoetzl's 96th year as a brewery, ha. I'm not really sure why they didn't wait for their 100th anniversary... but after tasting this beer, I'm glad they didn't. I really enjoyed Shiner 96. It was malty, sweet, and seriously reminded me of something I've had... similar to an oktoberfest, but lighter. Plus it's almost 6% alcohol. The plant in this photo is called a Money Tree - I swear. |
